TERMS OF BUSINESS
All hires are subject to our Terms & Conditions and by placing
an order with us either verbally or via e-mail it is deemed that
the customer has read, understood and fully agreed to our Terms & Conditions.
Payment
A deposit of 25% of the value of the booking is due on receipt
of the invoice to secure the booking, unless agreed otherwise
at the
time of booking. The balance is due 14 days before the event,
if your event is sooner than 14 days from order then the full
amount
is due immediately
Cancellations
All deposits are non refundable regardless of the circumstances.
If your cancellation date is 7 days or more from your event then
all monies less your deposit will be refunded. No refunds will
be granted if cancellation occurs 7days prior to your event. We
will however exchange your date for a chocolate fountain to the
same value in the future.
Timings
Whilst every effort is made to ensure our timely arrival on site, in
the event of uncontrollable circumstances our liability shall be limited
to a pro rata reduction in the hire fee in the event of a delayed start.
Alternatively or if agreed with the customer the hire shall be be extended
to recover any lost time from the delayed start. We allow 1.5 to 2 hours
to set up comfortably, we will not except liability for any late starts
caused by poor site access.
Power Supply
All equipment requires a 240 volt power supply within 2 metres of
the chocolate fountain. If this is not possible , please contact
us in advance to ensure that we can make suitable arrangements.
Site & Site Access & Parking & Tolls
We require access that allows us to use sack trucks with no obstruction,
the site must be clean and meet all food health hygiene standards.
Parking expenses will be charged back to the client. Tolls will be
charged in advance.
Public Liability Insurance
GPH Entertainments Ltd C/O Fountains of Chocolate have public liability
insurance of £1 million.
Customer Collections
Collection will be charged at local delivery rates. The hirer may
collect selected items on production of a valid UK photo card driving
licence or passport, supported by a bank statement or utility bill.
We will require credit card details as security for the booking.
GPH Entertainments cannot be held responsible for equipment being
set up incorrectly in a collection situation. All equipment must
be returned by 10am the next day and is subject to an inspection.
If the outcome of the inspection is unsatisfactory, an additional
charge may be levied to the credit card provided as security.
Damage to Equipment
On collection or return, if equipment is damaged or unacceptably
dirty (we appreciate things can get wet or a little bit muddy occasionally)
the hirer will be subject to a cleaning charge and possible charges
in relation to loss of earning if we are unable to complete existing
bookings.
